About Bacteriostatic Water

Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing a small amount (0.9%) of benzyl alcohol, which suppresses bacterial growth. That preservative is what lets a reconstituted peptide vial be entered repeatedly over weeks while refrigerated, rather than being single-use.

Each PX1 bottle contains 3 mL. Add it to a lyophilized peptide to bring the powder into solution; use the reconstitution calculator to work out the volume and concentration.
